Greetings Kindergarten Families!

We are excited to see you this week for conferences!

For election day, we discussed the voting process! We have been practicing voting on topics (favorite subject in school etc) and graphing our results. We learned the tough lessons that you can only vote once and can only vote for what is on the ballot! We started making other graphs as well to show how we come to school and how many boys and girls we have in class.

In science, we are exploring day and night. We have conducted experiments to show when the sun shines on different parts of the earth!

In writing, we have started telling stories in booklets. This is where we use a three page booklet to tell our story across pages with a beginning, middle, and end. We have also explored how to add on pages when needed. Kindergartners share excellent compliments about each other’s work!
