Hannah Senesh Community Day School, an open and inclusive, independent K-8 Jewish school in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, is hiring a Kindergarten lead teacher to join our 2024-25 faculty. Applicants should be creative, thoughtful, and reflective educators who value working in a progressive school setting. The salary for this position is $70,000-80,000 commensurate with experience. Hannah Senesh Community Day School, a progressive, independent K-8 Jewish school in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, is hiring a middle school Hebrew teacher for the 2024-25 school year. Our Hebrew program is based on the Proficiency Approach, in which students learn through engagement with Israeli stories, authentic Hebrew texts and materials, songs, games, and celebrations while teaching critical skills related to the four strands of language acquisition: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Hebrew language lives in our classrooms, is woven into the fabric of our school program, and is purposeful and engaging.
