Raising Children in the Age of Screens
Join us for an engaging evening of learning and dialogue as we explore how families and communities can shift our relationships with screens—maximizing their benefits while minimizing their harms.
RegisterWhen Jonathan Haidt’s bestselling book, The Anxious Generation, was published last year, it sparked a national conversation about the harms that smartphones and social media have on children and teens. Most children already have access to phones or tablets, and they have become indispensable to our lives, so how do we learn to live with these powerful, useful, and addictive technologies?
Using psychological science, we’ll strategize how to change our families’ relationships with screens to maximize their benefits and minimize their harms—and work to overcome the collective action challenges in our communities.
Featuring Guest Speaker: Yoni Schwab, PhD, is a founder and Assistant Head of The Shefa School, the first and largest Jewish day school for kids with dyslexia and learning disabilities.
Cost: $10 per person
