Family Engagement & Program Site Coordinator (Part-Time and On-Site)

Position Overview:The Family Engagement & Program Site Coordinator will play a central role within Senesh L’Kulam, our community outreach and engagement initiative, helping to execute joyful, meaningful programs that serve the broader Brooklyn Jewish community. This part-time, on-site position supports our growing suite of family-friendly, Jewish-infused programs and events that take place throughout the school year—primarily on Sunday mornings and occasional evenings.

The ideal candidate is a person who brings warmth, creativity, and structure to every event and understands how to craft engaging experiences for families while managing behind-the-scenes logistics with care and precision.

This part-time, on-site role begins September 2, 2025. It requires approximately 3–4 hours of on-site coordination per event and a few hours per month for planning and administration. The position supports 20–25 events per year.

Compensation:$8,000–$10,000 for the 2025–2026 school year, depending on experience and number of events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the coordination, set-up, and on-site execution of engaging community events, ensuring a welcoming and well-organized environment.
  • Build strong relationships with participating families, program facilitators, partners, and vendors.
  • Support event planning and administration including communications, supply tracking, registration platforms (such as Humanitix), and post-event follow-up.
  • Report to the Director of Strategic Partnerships & Community Engagement, sharing real-time observations and feedback from programs to ensure high-quality, meaningful experiences and inform adjustments as needed.

Who You Are:

  • A warm and approachable presence who enjoys connecting with children and parents.
  • Skilled at building relationships and remembering names, faces, and family details to help deepen connections and personalize outreach.
  • Exceptionally organized, with strong planning skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive problem-solver who can manage logistics while keeping big-picture goals in mind.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team; able to supervise event staff/facilitators on-site.
  • Familiarity with tools and platforms, such as Google Workspace and Humanitix.
  • Prior experience in Jewish education, family engagement, or event programming strongly preferred.
