Kindergarten Newsletter
Dear Kindergarten parents הורים יקרים,
This week in Hebrew and Judaic studies we started learning about the holiday Tu B’Shvat, which is the birthday of the trees. The students learned about shivat haminim (the seven species): chita, seora, gefen, te’ena, rimon, zayit, and tamar. We asked the students: why are the trees so important and what do they give us? The students gave answers such as oxygen, furniture, fruits, houses, and more! In Hebrew, we read the book Pishpesh Mitlabesh and the students learned about the different clothes you wear in the winter. We also continued learning about the creation of the world. This week we learned about the sixth day and the students worked on different activities. They learned that on the sixth day God created human beings. In addition, the Shinshinim came to join our class again!VocabularyAnimals חיותFish דגיםHuman אדםShabbat Shalom,K Team
