5th Grade Week of 5/7

What a week! The sun finally came out, spring is here, and so much happened in 5th grade! We had a wonderful time at Prospect Park during Lag Baomer, and enjoyed hosting our families for Kesher Day. What a week in 5th Grade! Our 5A students had another excellent trip to the Brooklyn Autism Center, yet again showing their compassion and amazing ability to be kind to others. What a week! We celebrated Yom Haatzmaut on Thursday. We and our 4th grade friends turned our classrooms into Israeli cities, ancient and modern. The 5th Grade also did an exceptional job performing a play for our whole school tekes on the last 70 years of Israel’s history. We had a great time reading Passover stories to our buddies, celebrating Passover in our themed seders and  5B went to the BAC. What a week! Our students continued to strive towards meeting their academic goals and gaining new knowledge. Our 5A students took their first trip of the year to the Brooklyn Autism Center and met some new and unique friends. Have a good and restful weekend!
