Judaics: This week in Judaics students worked hard to learn Rashi script and decode his commentary on the text. We enjoyed some time as “one big chevruta” where we all sat on the carpet and read the text in Hebrew and translated together. It has been so wonderful to see how much students have improved in their confidence to read Hebrew out loud and how they are all bursting with kushiyot (text-based questions) to share with the class. I look forward to finishing up our Chumash unit next week and hearing their final reflections on lessons they have learned from exploring the Joseph stories this year. –Laura

Science: Students this week continued their space exploration with the chance to see working rockets in action. In order to keep our scientist safe they used water power as their rocket fuel. By placing pressure within the rocket they launched these rockets on the roof with success. We are excited to continue our exploration of science with these final weeks of school.-Mike
