Dear Families, In math, we are beginning geometry. First graders have been working on identifying and using flat shapes: square, rectangle, trapezoid, triangle, circle, rhombus and pentagon. This week, we played a guessing game, where students had to figure out which shape was being described using clues. For example, I have four corners and four sides. All my sides are the same size.
